FFS, they’re not donating a kidney. They’re going on a Jollyboys away day. It’s a social occasion FFS.
It's the Aviva country cousin thing, only we're supposed to be a city The endless 'same old' photos on GOS only serve to give some purpose in life to a largely ageing, or young and needy bunch of sad souls. 'The players applaud the GA' 'The GA applauds the players' 'See you next week................for another going nowhere Avivafest'. |

| I've gone back as far as 2001 and since then only Bristol Rovers and Torquay have been relegated on 51 points (the Gulls going down on goal difference).
I'd reckon most seasons the safety requirement looks high in early March but as the games countdown so does the total needed. Just as important though is the number of teams below us. If everyone hits form (and we keep losing), for sure, we'll rapidly plummet, but it doesn't normally work like that at the bottom. Even if we do keep losing a quarter of the division still has to overtake us. I agree with SFD's assessment - three wins and a couple of draws. |

| I've always said will not go down, and we wont. We will kick off a new season as a third division team in a second rate city. |

Expect us to lose again on Saturday but should start picking up points again after that. |

My guess would be this...… Luton Town [H] Lose Shrewsbury Town [H] Draw Fleetwood Town [A] Win Bristol Rovers [H] Win Blackpool [A] Draw Charlton's Athletic [H] Lose Doncaster Rovers [A] Lose Gillingham [A] Draw Barnsley [H] Lose Accrington Stanley [A] Draw Scunthorpe United [H] Win That would give us 53 points and hopefully safety. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | I think Rovers will beat us but well pick up a win against either Blackpool, Charlton or Donny. |

| Home - 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats Away - 1 win, 1 draw, 3 defeats.
Should be just enough.
(As I write now, if things did get tight and we needed the points I'm confident that we'd beat Accrington and Scunthorpe in our last two games. Though if it comes to pass then I reserve the right to completely flip, be nervous as hell and convinced we're going down. |

Rovers could be one of the teams that go on a little run between now and May, the other four being - Oxford, Walsall, Gillingham and Bradford. The Rovers game will be an interesting one for all reasons, going on the last couple of seasons. I think Rochdale and AFC are doomed. |

| Agree with Oxford but I thunk Walsall are doomed, shite goal difference and dropping like a stone. |
