Best manager the club every had.
Apart from success on the pitch he and Keith Blunt developed lots of youngsters who went on to play at the top level;
Megson, Alecsic, Barron Hodge, Mariner, Randell, Foster etc. etc.

' I thought that Plymouth Argyle was a job for life and that I could repeat Bobby Robson's success at Ipswich.'
Same old Argyle. Sell Mariner instead of backing the manager and adding to a very good squad. Home Park would have been packed to the rafters if the public perceived that the club was serious. Same with Holloway.

Will have to take people's words for it. Only being 28 Sturrock MK1 is the I've ever witnessed.
But the opening gambit of the video rings true right now.
