| Get in. 10 points from 12. Giving ourselves every chance. Walsall won 3-0 today at Gills, so another tough game on Tuesday. |

| What a turnaround the second half was, excellent play by Argyle.
Letheren had a good game kept us in it the first half and also good defending, no doubt about it we would have lost this game a few weeks ago, credit to the players and the coaching team.
Just WTF do we have to wait until January before we start playing! |

| Kyle Letheren was a rock in goal today and really saved our bacon several times with some good shot stopping antics. If Lamerias hadnt of pull off a second half masterpiece he would have been my Man of the match.
Good match to watch. We looked good going forward at times however lots of mistakes and quick breaks from coventry who could have punished us badly again had kyle not played the game of his career.
Defence so slow still and made errors yet at the same time looked more composed. Lamerias took his two goals very well you could see on his face after the first one that he wanted to celebrate it yet remembered he played for coventry but he didnt think twice after his 2nd. Some idiot let off a military flare in block3-4 and i took 5 minutes for the mist too completely clear.
overall good win still much more too do like strengthen the defence. |

| Just looked at the full league table, interestingly Argo have the best form in the league over the past three games. |

| Very enjoyable afternoon and so good to send a big folllowing home with their tails between their legs, hasn't happened for a while now.Coventry certainly made the early running and had 4 or 5 pretty good chances in the first 20 minutes,Letheran made some very smart saves to keep Argyle in it. Not sure why it should be but sometimes it's very noticeable that the Argyle midfield have a problem in engaging the opposition at close quarters with the result that the defence is faced with people running through all the time.Very odd actually because it was equally noticeable that the longer the match went on,that was the department where Argyle began to dominate and turn the match around with the power of Songoo and Sarcevic to the fore. The Coventry goal was a beautifully struck and placed free kick which i think Letheran got a hand to but couldn't keep out-came very much against the run of play in the second half and Argyle well deserved to equalise and take the lead through a couple of goals from Reuben who reacted quicker than anyone else to loose balls in the area. There was a scare or two afterwards, especially when a deflected shot went about an inch wide of the far post, but Argyle held on to deservedly win as much for their ability to resist and come back from adversity as anything else.Good team effort but a word in praise of Ashley Smith Brown who improves match by match-who knows, the competition provided by Oscars presence may be a contributory factor in that.Nothing like a strong squad for keeping people on their mettle.
Great start to the two home games but Walsall had a great win today,so it sure won't be easy on Tuesday but Argyle are capable of winning and climbing the table further-long may it continue. |

Just to pick on one point here: ASB. The games I have seen him play at RB (which are few and does not include today) suggest we just might have a real player on our hands. It's early doors and all that but I have a feeling that he could be absolutely excellent for us - in that position. Trouble is he has played most of the season at LB and has had a pair of comedy centre halves next to him and so has shared the blame for the various shambleses that have befallen us. Credit to Sawyer too. He's kind of like a Wotton de nos jours: bang average and obviously limited but we're far better when he plays. Get the 2 Big Fellers sorted out and we could be looking up. |
