On this link you can see where I placed the cursor over the icon that provides the ISP number of the poster on Argyletalk, in this case Modbod.

Then compare the ISP to Naps ISP and presto!

Not yet he hasn't Frank but we're expecting him!

I think I have now managed to set it so that you can only join via an email, once I have the email I can check out the IP. But to be honest there's no real way to prevent someone if they really want to, all they have to do is use a different IP.

Quite a bit of damage has been done to his street cred so he may take a break from it for a while but one thing is for sure, he will come back because the guy has a few issues in his life! I can also contact his Internet server, Virgin, and they will also take action but I really don't want to do that unless he threatens the site's existence as on argyletalk.

He does what he does and then hides behind the mask of rattling buckets and media attention but if he's not careful it'll kick him in the ass as it has over the past couple of days. Time will tell but I expect he's busy trawling through pasoti archives to dig the dirt and when that fails he'll make it up, I've seen him do it all before!

As one pasoti member recently wrote when talking about past pasoti posters, "So many have fallen by the wayside"!

A "Guest" board is worth a try and can be deleted if it doesn't work (or attracts the wrong types)

To be fair I can't be to0 critical for people using lots of different ISP's. For example, a travelling rep would have a different ISP every day of the week or someone may have more then one living address etc or post using a mobile phone.

It all depends on the motive more then the ISP, but in this case we all know what the motive was!

Does anyone know if PASOTI makes a personal profit for its owners? - I know it has a hell of a lot of advertising space that it sells and I know that it has "Bots" that create revenue for every time someone clicks onto PASOTI, where does all that money go?
