| Was just dreaming I applied to the Government for an Argyle development grant and was awarded 2 Billion. How should I go about spending it, must appoint a team of advisors. How many and who should I go for?
Thinking about people from the Eden Project, Plymouth Uni, Marjons.
Potential Managers (bribe with big bucks) David Moyes, Tony Pulis. |

| None of the above. All a waste of the money.

| I'd spend it all on a dodgy centre back with a long standing injury. |

| Far too positive Freathy. Do me a favour mate, give me one of your predictions for Exeter City Vs Sheffield Wednesday please? Difficult when it's not our team, I know, but try. |

Potential Managers (bribe with big bucks) David Moyes, Tony Pulis. You're doing it all wrong Pete, the first thing you do is lock the money away and get the fans to pay for everything and then you'll need a president as well! |

| There are a couple of obvious starting points like infrastructure, personnel and customers. So I guess I would start with a big hotel, an even bigger flag, a manager and coaching staff with no experience whatsoever, and then obviously alienate some of your paying customers and ignore them.
Can't see how it could possibly fail. |

| If the flag gets to big ......no problem......you just knock the stadium down and build a bigger one. |

| No imagination some people.
The start would be completion of the ground incorporating state of the art facilities all around for £50m. Training facilities at no less than £25m to begin with and room for expansion as time goes on. Sponsor the ground for a minimum of £100m per season to keep within the revenue and wage cap rules. Bring in numerous players at great expense rising as progress up the leagues was made. Lets say £25m for the first season and doubling each season as the rise was made. Bring in the coaches of both Barcelona and Arsenal to train the players. That should take the best part of the first £1b. Manage the club myself as I wouldn't have to do anything except take the applause and pick up the awards as they came. Reduce the entrance price to £1 per match for adults and nothing for kids thus ensuring a full ground every week in my new 40,000 stadium. Bank the other £1b and use the interest to subsidise the club for the next god knows how long.
Then I'd wake up and realise it was all a dream. |
