| 2v1 defeat. Bad result, but I think we'll be OK this season. We always start badly.
We've now lost the opening league match in 6 of the last 7 seasons. It's as if playing almost all your pre-season matches against tiny, part-time, non-league teams isn't a sufficient preparation for league football. |

Probably not but it kind of feels like it. In recent years, yes - I was there for the last victories - 1-0, both of them. Winners from Littlejohn and Heathcote. Grobbelaar was in goal for the first one! Difficult to get exercised when there are 4 tests to go in the main international test series of the summer. |
