MVV Maastricht here we come

ARGYLE have announced another pre-season friendly during our pre-season training camp in the Netherlands.

For the second time in three years, we will take on MVV Maastricht. The game will take place almost two years to the day when we won there in pre-season 2016. Goals that dayfrom David Goodwillie and a stunning Yann Songo’o winner, capped an excellent run out, and overall European experience.

This year's game will be on Friday, July 27, at 8pm local time, 7pm in the UK.

Me and a mate of mine went to Maastrict years ago whilst hitching round northern Europe, beautiful city with some of the most beautiful women on the planet (hi Greta). Anyway we were having a couple of beers in the square when we were approached by one of a group of lads. 'Hi English he asked? Yes mate. Ah ok no worries enjoy your stay! He then told us the best places to visit.' It was pretty surreal the politest hoolies I'd ever met and totally chilled about it all.
Always been pretty relaxed about a bit of puff in Maastrict and I think now they even have some coffee shops. If anyone gets a chance go.

Argyle will play their final two warm-up matches for the new EFL campaign during a training camp in the Netherlands.

They will play German side SV Schermbeck on Tuesday, July 24 and Dutch second division club MVV Maastricht on Friday, July 27.
