I was gunna put my £1 on a 2yr deal but less than our decent players wouldn’t sign just before they pissed off

If theyre not disclosing it its almost certain to be a year or less. If the boy turns out to be any good, he'll be off like a shot.

If any of the players signed so far, have a good season, given the shysters contract system , they will be poached or take pot luck elsewhere.

By getting rid of your decent players that you do have & keep ripping the spine out of the team every season it’s madness

This kid could be good for us. If we are taking a punt we should be offering him a couple of years if not 3. If he does come good then we could be looking at a few million when he gets poached. Brent is not a good business man he's treating the club like its Parkway.
If you want to see how a proper club operates look at Peterboroughs signings over the last few years they haven't broken the bank for anyone yet have sold millions of pounds worth of young players and SOME of that money has gone back into the squad with more young shots.

He's bound to be as are the other 4 and others who come in afterwards on those bloody awful 1 year deals with an auto 1 year renewel if triggered that yet again will feck us over if he does turn out to be any good as he will walk for free.

People assumed they were 1-year deals last season, too.

Loan deals were 6 months to 1yr(season long)
There was a couple of 1st teamers who were half away through 18month to 2yr deals
The players who deals they let run down I believe they were offered the same money as they were offered 2yrs ago to resign ...two clubs in L2 actually offered more money than we offered to shall we say to a certain player

That's a pretty good call, Al. TJ has that certain ring of a Toms clone. Maybe Clive has been holding a few volunteer workshops. He certainly has a penchant to get involved.

Keep up Gaffer do you think that a) player of the season Bradley could have played in the CCC and b) do you think well sign a CCC standard player to replace him?
