| ARGYLE have signed Conor Grant – finally.
The midfielder was set to join Argyle on loan from Everton in January, but fell foul to a rule stipulating that he could not play for more than two clubs in one season.
Derek Adams, though, has played a waiting game, and now that Everton are willing to let Grant go, Adams can make Conor, 23, a permanent Pilgrim.
Liverpudlian Grant joined hometown side Everton as a 13-year-old, signing professional forms five years later. Shortly after, he made the bench in Everton’s Europa League match against Krasnodar of Russia.
Conor moved on loan to Motherwell, where he made his professional debut, and then the following season was spent at Doncaster Rovers. He was due to spend 2016-17 at Ipswich, but his time there was cut short, and so Grant returned to Doncaster for a second spell, in January.
Before heading for Crewe for 18 games last season, Conor had played one game for Everton in the Checkatrade Trophy, rendering his potential move to Home Park invalid.
Now, though, Derek Adams has his man.
Welcome, Conor.

| Let's hope he turns out to a Ness/Sarcevic/Lameiras type, whose signings were not greeted with much enthusiasm by most supporters, including myself but who turned out to be pretty good. Not much experience to speak of and can't find out too much about him, so very difficult to make much comment but good luck to him anyway. |

| Crewe didn't think he was good enough, yet somehow he finds his way to the Brentihad. Welsome Pilgrim. |

Crewe didn't think Foxy was good enough, just goes to show doesn't it But if we have Fox why do we need Grant? Wouldn't it be better to stick with the proven player? |

| View of a Doncaster fan,
"We had him on loan twice, the year we got relegated to League 2, he came in and looked a really good prospect so much so we wanted to sign him permanently but he turned the contract down, thank god he did because as we started to struggle he went missing. We then signed him on loan the season after and he wasn't the same player. If you get the version of him that first joined you have a very good player. His dip in form and attitude with us could just be down to Fergie's man management."
He's decent age and has a decent pedigree in as much as he was good enough to sign for the Everton albeit never breaking into their team. His record doesn't look brilliant but obviously has something Adams wants. We will see. |

| Maybe this is another one of those players that Del Bhey brings to life. |

Crewe didn't think Foxy was good enough, just goes to show doesn't it It goes to show that our budget is fit for little more than casting around in other peoples dustbins hoping to find something decent. |

It goes to show that no matter what factual comments are made, like the David Fox from Crewe comment, that you have one boring agenda. |

It wasn’t that long ago that everyone was bemoaning the lack of strength in depth that arguably cost us a playoff place. This signing addresses that problem in the midfield. Hopefully it’ll continue across the summer and this time around we’ll get a decent squad and not just a decent team. |

Fox as good as he was a punt, we made many punts last season on the unfit and shit and guess what happened at the end, the exhausted bare bones of a squad over relaint on one player with no cover, won 1 of their last 6 games. Hows about that for factual comment? Can't wait for your hilaaaarious response. Have you got an answer as to why Sonny Bradley feels the need to move to further his career yet? Or why Fox is even leaving? |
