It's like this...

I arrived at Argyle when Oldham drew 0-0 with us and got promoted...
Their star player was, Andy Lockhead...
That was 1973/4 season...

I'd been to a few games before...

Point is this...

Our family holidays were always at Challabrough! Robert Daniels son was one of the 1st people to have a ski-jet...

Argyle had just reached the semi-final of the League Cup... We had Steve Davy... We beat Birmingham, QPR etc., Who were all 1st Division,
Away from home!

For the younger people on this forum:- We lost in a 2 leg semi-final to Man City, who went on to beat Wolves in the final!

Wolves ended up in the bottom division but... They were a great club in the 1970's!

Argyle then appointed a young pup called Tony Waiters...

A lot of family members played for our club!

None of them were at Southend away... in the FA Cup!
