[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

This is the 'window' that was being mentioned. Effectively you are looking through [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to the forumotion site.

The alternative is a simple forwarder, but we would lose the address in the address bar. Obviously, anyone logging on via forumotion will still get the forumotion web address.

It's because you are looking through one website into the other. It's the only way to get [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] into the address bar.

I'm not convinced. A simple forwarder might be a better option?

It's not the width that bothers me so much as the fact there are two scrolling areas now which all feels a bit untidy and not user friendly for my mouse sensibilities.

If I had any idea what all this means, I'd be happy to be criticise. I've got a hard hat, hi vis and safety boots, so it would of course be constructive.

As it is, though, Penz's post looks like an online review for a, how should I put it, er, marital aid.

It's like some Spot the Difference competition... and I can't.

Except it doesn't resize.

Great to get a more memorable address to use.
