The number of Home Park season-tickets sold for the Pilgrims' Sky Bet League One campaign which begins on August 4 is fast approaching 6,000, nearly 10% up on this time last year.
Such has been the huge demand to see Argyle attempt to better their exciting seventh-placed finish of 2017-18 β and with capacity at Home Park significantly reduced for the next 12 months because of grandstand development work β the Pilgrims' are going to cap season-ticket sales.
To be fair to all of the Green Army, the Argyle Board has decided that no more full season-tickets will be made available after the total sales figure hits 7,000 β significantly more than 50% of next season's available capacity at the Theatre of Greens.
Chairman James Brent said: "We are delighted with the response from the best fans in the country to our many and varied season-ticket packages for 2018-19.
"However, we are mindful that not all of our regular supporters buy season-tickets.
"We felt it was important that they should be able to continue to have the opportunity to purchase tickets on a match-by-match basis, or to select one of our new Flexi-Tickets which allows them to choose six or eight matches at a time.
