Surprised Adams arranged a "warm down" game but fair play to him. Assuming the retained players and new contract acceptees will play.
Let me know where we are meeting. Should be half decent attendance surprised Pasoti havent picked up yet on it

Did it close for a time? They used to have a bleddy good Sunday football team, played against them on the big pitch at Tothill and Mark Damerell [who played a few times for Argyle later] was my immediate opponent-shit he was fast, my legs were like jelly at the end of the game, definitely a ten pints afterwards to replace what was lost sort of day. Mark was a member at Hurdwick GC before it closed, not sure where he plays now.

They were our arch rivals for a while in the Devon Sunday League. We had the upper hand in the main. Always interesting encounters. And the less said about their occasional "Old Chapel" entertainment, the better.

Just left the Minerva after downing a pint of Lime and soda followed by a large Pinot Griggio with good company.
