It is a hard one imo, the 80 minutes says we will go down, and the last 10 minutes says we will stay up.

I couldn't care less if we carry on scoring late goals to claim points, in our last 3 home matches we have scored in the last few minutes to get points out of the games, last minute Walton penalty to win against Burton, last minute overhead kick from Blanchard to draw with Crawley, and a last two minute goal from Macdonald to give us a point against Southend.

Those games are no easy games, before them, if you told me would would not lose a single one of them I would have laughed at you. It's just a shame our away form doesn't look so good, with just 1 point from a possible 9 on the road, hopefully that can change against Macclesfield.

If we can continue our very good home form, then I think we will stay up, a few away wins would most certainly help us with that though. Back to back results will be so important for a teams moral, we have two winnable games coming up, Macclesfield and Barnet.

Plenty of time left, but really need to be consistant

COYG,

Unusual for you to be caught in two minds Cobi lol!

I think The Clash wrote a song about it.

Next two games are big... 6 points would see us on 29 pts from 31 games.

Macclesfield have been in freefall...

One win in 7 (or is it now 8 ) games would suggest otherwise. We need to start some games like we did against northampton, but we are far too defensive.

Start the Macclesfield game with the 11 that finished yesterday. They should be buzzing.

Spot on.

Why do we do this? Each game we start 'from behind'. Sit back too far, let them come at us. Then at half time, the team has their Red Bull and come out totally different unit.

Neither Lennox nor MacDonald have been on long enough to show they are any more than impact players. At the moment that's how I would use them. Both of them looked busy and, for our level, skilful quick players. If Young has another mare like he did yesterday, I can see MacDonald getting a longer run-out. I thought Tsoumou looked to have potential but again too soon to tell really. But time is running out. I guess what they do in training is important for whether they get a full match.

Really impressed with the come-back fight. And against one of the top clubs in the league the second-half performance was fairly good.

On current form, we'll go down - we haven't done enough to get out of the bottom two. These late revivals and last minute equalizers are all very well but they mask the problem that we're not winning enough games.

Our relegation rivals would have been happy enough with our result yesterday. To them it's two points lost for us. If we are going to stay up draws wont be good enough even if the are coming back from 2 down against table toppers.

Next four games are huge, I think we could get 9 or 10 points from them.

I can see the last game of the season being a real bum-squeaker. Win and we stay up, lose and if the team below us wins, we're down. That sort of thing.

if that's how it pans out, at least we'll get some decent media coverage.

Should've got O'Driscoll in when we had the chance. What a bloody joke this club has become. Now we have local hotheads like the dynamic duo running the show. FFS !

Andy, Hope it doesn't go down to the last game. We (wife & I) are coming over from Brussels for that one; B&B already booked. Don't think I could stand the strain.

Merv Plummer.

Could I have your pen set if it all gets too much for you Merv? I'm sure I can find a suitable place to deposit them.

Heart says stay up and head says my anal nerve will be twanging for a while yet. I think it is an Argyle condition rather than an age thing or at least I hope it is. At the moment we show no sign of climbing out of the bottom two despite some encouragement on the pitch. We need 3 points instead of 1 in games although to have taken 5 out of the last 3 fixtures at home considering the lofty heights of the teams we have played does add to the confusion. If ever a positive run was needed it is around abut now to put the pressure on the others around us.

There'll be some lofty teams in the BSP too mate. Ebbsfleet, Forest Green.............................. Look how far we've come by listening to the happy clappy dough boys.

Trust in Stapes Tringy ! I'll never hear a bad word said about that man pig FFS !

I don't really care how many lofty teams are in the BSP at the moment Tringreen. We are still in league two and there is a pecking order there we have to contend with. Next season we will start not being in Administration with a proper pre-season and on a more level playing field to the rest of the league. Who knows we could easily be one of the "lofty" teams whichever league we are in. But for now it is this season that counts and considering we are in the bottom two and the three teams I mention were or still are in the top eight before kickoff then the results are not that bad.

Have you got a quick key for that, Tring, or do you have to type it out every time?

Just wondering, like Cool

As we cannot string two results together we are completely incapable of getting out of the bottom 2 where we have been ALL season. On that basis we'll go out of the football league.

And we may not start our non-league era in administration but it won't be long before we're bucket rattling at Ebbsfleet and Forest Green Rovers. All the while our multi-millionaire ex-banker owner's wallet will remain firmly shut. The next phase of our destruction will be completely brent's fault! Trust in stapes brent.

We have not been saved!
