Max Blanchard

Has he had a thread of his own yet? I doubt it.

I'd like to sing his praises. Since he arrived we have been more solid at the back. Much of the credit for this seems to be given to Purse but it struck me today that when it comes to the pointing, organising and encouraging team mates it is Blanchard who seems the most obviously vocal. I don't think he has done much wrong in any game that I have seen so far. He just quietly and effectively goes about his business.

I reckon we might have been lucky enough to have a damned fine player drop in our lap here.

Agreed, no complaints about Max to date. Does what's asked without any frills.

Looking at our back 4, we should be capable, on paper at least. With Wotton protecting the back 4 and the improving Jake Cole in goal, it begs the question why are we still shipping goals?.
