Eric Bristow: Five-time darts world champion dies aged 60

Bristow was at the Premier League Darts event at Liverpool's Echo Arena when he suffered a heart attack.

Remember meeting him at the Grenville a few years ago when he was challenging all comers. Nice bloke, big fekker too.

Bleddy hell, another icon of the 70's/80's goes at far too young an age. Always liked watching Eric play the pantomime villain and winding up the crowd and opponent, crooked little finger to the fore. Great battles with people like Jocky Wilson and John Lowe, very influential on Taylors career.
