| THE EFL have released details of the monies paid by all clubs to agents in the period between February 1, 2017 and January 31 2018. Argyle paid the total sum of £52,032 which was up from last seasons £36,349. This year’s total sum paid meant we spent the seventh lowest in the division on agency fees with eleven teams spending over £100,000, including teams such as Oxford, Portsmouth, Southend, Charlton and Scunthorpe. Blackburn topped the list with £764,024,Wigan also spent over half a million with there agent’s fees costing £557,333. Aston Villa top the EFL with £5,510,180 spent on agency fees with is £1million more than the whole of League One and Two combined. Sunderland are the second highest spenders in the Football League with £4,370,897. | Given that there's probably some percentage correlation to wages drawn down, maybe the best indication yet as to the overall playing budget set by the squire. Seventh bottom. Oh dear. |

| Agent fees are just money for old rope, it would be a step in the right direction if they were totally taken out of the equation. |

Based on that Crawley must pay less than the NMW then? Any probable/possible stick. |

| Earwegoagain. Obviously this is just being used as a stick to beat the club with eh? Where is the evidence to suggest that there's any correlation between the size of the deal/transfer made and the resulting payment to the agent? We obviously have a much bigger budget than all those other clubs we just get special deals from the agents. Another Brent master stroke? No another Gammon faced (I like that one POI) attempt to make Brent look less like the obvious count that he is. |
