| I note the Guardian reporter never asked Brent where the money is going? Good to see somebody has compiled a long list of the shysters business faliures in the comments. |

| The Guardian lost it for me when they tried to stick the boot into Corbyn. After all the years of liberal fluff, green pretence and chattering, they proved to be little better than their competition. Just couldn't bring themselves to support a mild mannered humanist centre left conviction politician with an allotment. So, what are they actually there for then ? They should stick to the easy market foreign affairs readership. A waste of paper and pixels. I predict they will do the internet pay wall thing at some stage, or their version of it. Can't possibly bring myself to read the same Brent sourced dribble and propaganda as a few years ago. Hopefully the "philanthropy" number wasn't brought out of mothballs. |

| They did stick the boot into Jeremy, you only have to read the totally inconsistent Polly Toynbee for/against shite over the last couple of years. |

| Thanks to DA they're on a high just now but.................don't you just know what happens next ?
Can't see the reluctant one coughing up what it will take to keep DA and some players at the club for long.
Can't see the mankover being good enough to inspire the latent fanbase.
Can't see any monied new buyer being interested in club/stadium being boxed in by an ice rink and other assorted crap, if it ever gets built.
We have the most gullible fans in the country.
The only sure thing as that the current shareholders will profit personally, whatever happens
Tick tock tick tock.................. |

Farm foot soldiers shit posting taking over free chat When the team has been broken up yet again, DA has long departed for a proper club with a proper owner and we're back in L2 playing in a three sided stadium those mugs can all congratulate themselves on getting the shit club and team they all thoroughly deserve. Can't possibly bring myself to read the same Brent sourced dribble and propaganda as a few years ago. Hopefully the "philanthropy" number wasn't brought out of mothballs. Some of what you say might ring true but The Guardian is still better than most of the other tired piffle out there in the mainstream UK press. It is a punchbag for working class inverted snobs and the right wing establishment, which suggests - to me at least - that it has a place in the liberal soft left/centre. At least it attempts an intelligent approach to most issues and it’s also trust run so not a slave to the likes of Murdoch. Nowhere near perfect but would be sad to see it go. Bit like the BBC. Saying that, the article in question was way too slanted toward Brent’s role in Argyle’s revival. I guess if there is one really decent thing he’s done it’s to appoint capable managers in Sheridan and Adams (thought Sheridan did well until losing the plot). He’ll need that eye again soon when Adams rides off into the Championship. |

Do the auctions come with a certificate of authenticity? Because we all know how fake they are. |
