| Shrewsbury Town announced their season ticket prices for the 2018/19 Sky Bet League campaign earlier this week. U12s will get in free for all Sky Bet League games while young adult prices have been frozen and the age limited raised to U24s. There are also more savings to be had when families purchase their tickets together. Family tickets work out at £13.05 for an adult per Sky Bet League game while a season ticket for fans aged 11 to 18 years of age drops to just £2.40 per Sky Bet League game. Town CEO Brian Caldwell has pledged to make it cheaper for families and young supporters to come along to the Montgomery Waters Meadow. “We are trying to encourage mums and dads with children or grandparents with grandchildren to come to the games”, Brian said “We’ve got a lot of activities going on in the county that Jamie (Edwards) and his team in the community run, so it’s important we capitalise on that and try and get people along. “If we get a child along through a community initiative or youth group offer who enjoys it then maybe they can persuade a parent or grandparent along to come with them and hopefully the next step is to try and get them to become season ticket holders. Its not for Akkron Argo though, Jimmy needs the maximun return from his consumers to pay for Ice Rinks Hotels Takeaways and other football club essentials. |

| Plenty more potential yet to wring a few more pennies out of the forever giving Jimmy believers. |

| No.
Brent will see decreased supply of tickets due to the renovation and increased demand for tickets due to promotion (or a near miss) in simple terms and raise the prices.
"We want Derek to have the very best chance at getting promoted that we can give him and that, unfortunately, means a slight price increase so that our budget can be even more competitive next season. Please get behind Derek and the lads and book your season ticket early so that you don't miss out." |

| Everyone wants value added customers these days, especially Brent if he could only manage it. Single regular/casual POTD cash fans who don't buy all the extras are not wanted, especially if they don't consume crap pasties and awful beer. Why else would ticket prices be so expensive comparative to everyone else and their dog. Even kids who might possibly, conceivably, maybe one day go to a football match years into the future, when they grow up, are more welcome than the traditional fan.
Maybe one day, football grounds will have a small purpose built unaccompanied adult male section, modelled on today's family section, separate from the rest of the bouncy castle, clown orchestrated, crisp strewn, contactless, not interested in the football, sugar guzzling, stadium. I call it family fascism, and it's coming to a stadium near you. |

| I'm a Mayflower refugee. Loved it there until they started giving us fancy dan seats, even augmented it with the unforgivable disposable plastic poncho.... arrrghh ..... put up with it for years, though .... "It'll all end in tears" I repeated ad nauseum. Thought of taking up assylum with Forest Green Rovers, to support the new wave, but maybe the nuclear consuming all before them family thing has reached them too. |
