He may prove useful I guess. It’s just difficult to get excited when u know Argyle are pretty much his third or fourth choice for a contract.

Atrocious signing. It might also suggest Taylor is Off.

Surely not losing Taylor at this stage given as he was one of the main reasons for the upturn in fortune. Taylor does look quite accomplished. That really would stir the slumber of the Avivas in their fields of clover if that happened.

For me it’s a good signing, you don’t play 38 times for your country without having talent, my only concern is the serious injury he had, but it would appear he has been training without any issues, so welcome aboard Simon.
Taylor will not be leaving

Charlotte Church sings for Wales, but that has no bearing on talent.
Taylor came here last January, don't tell me he's out of contract in a week, under the usual miser's charter of 12 month contracts.

Not too sure why Charlotte Church rates a mention here as she hasn’t played football for Wales and last I heard she was a professional singer, whereas Simon Church was rated by respective Welsh International Managers’ as having sufficient talent and skill to play for his country 38 times, a Welsh team, certainly in the latter years, who’ve been performing well on the international scene, a team that are ranked higher than England, so the fella has a talent, our concern should be, has he overcome his injury ?
If you really do support Argyle the football team, you would/should know Taylor signed an 18month deal, I’ll leave you to work out when that would end.

DA will no doubt squeeze the best out of Church and it would be fitting if he were to score on his debut, whether that be tomorrow or the next game.

If he can do the job, fair shout.

Is Taylor leaving then ?.

The only positives I’m seeing here is that unlike Blissett, Church has a pedigree that has seen him carve out a reasonable career at a decent level for himself. The other thing I’m seeing is that strikers that aren’t prolific....but still play for quite a few years at Championship level, are obviously giving something to the team on a regular basis, to merit their inclusion (not unlike Taylor).

Someone needs to sell this transfer to me cause i dont get what all the fuss is about

injury prone, slow, 281 games and only 49 goals but played for Wales somehow cause its not like they are heavy with options to use compared to England.

Ill give him a chance of course but he isnt going to be the striker to score 20 goals a season or offer something different to Taylor.

At his best, he's a better version of Taylor (and I say that as someone who's a Taylor fan.) Injuries may well mean that he'll never get back to his best, but we'll see I suppose.

He may find a second wind down here, but like you have said, he has got to be given a chance. How many games should he be given before a true assessment can be made.

If he and Carey can click, that could be very interesting. I reckon he could play and score tomorrow.

The speculation regarding Taylor is still abound ?.

Either this is a very lucky master stroke by Adams, who now has some added fire power to the squad (and boosting confidences higher) or it is the other. Now where shall I put my money.
