| Slip in a 5p rise from today. according to the shopkeeper and a customer no mention of it in any of last weeks Heralds.
Same old regurgitated stories, Ten best Pubs, Ten Pubs we have lost, Ten new building for 2018, Ten old building we have lost, We love Mr Brent and on and on they goes with the school boys reporters they have. |

A truly awful rag. Like you said, tgwu, full of top ten this, top ten that, latching onto national stories and trying to make it local, stories full of adjectives a 12 year old would use, blanket coverage of A38 crashes - ad infinitum. |

| I'm not quite sure where vested interest newspapers got their "investigative" reputation. I can't remember a worthwhile scoop from the Brent herald in my lifetime. It's always been as it is now, the village stocks, locals in the dock, poor bashing goes on like it always has. Couldn't be happening to a nicer rag. When it comes down to money, that's when you see the integrity or not of a person or business. Just how low will they stoop. |

| I dont thought I have ever bought a hard copy of the Herald in near enough 10 years now. Even the website barely gets a look in unless its a story pressganged onto Lloyd's FB group. |

| The Herald has gone downhill since Trinity Mirror Group spent £220 million acquiring the majority of the countries local news titles, the Herald was owned for many years by the Daily Mail, some might say it was better then....... it's a very pro Labour newspaper these days and rather unbalanced, for example Trinity Mirror Groups pay rise for 2017 was one per cent, did it warrant a mention alongside its stories of public sector pay stagnation with rises pegged to one per cent by the 'cruel' Tories? no - because the truth has gone out the window, the majority of its writers are very young, no proof readers are employed and unfortunately a university education doesn't seem to impart the ability to spell, the Herald is riddled with mistakes. Mr Errington has a conflict of interest regarding his wife's employer, much of his output is mere regurgitation of DAs comments and whilst his match reports do give a clear picture of the match events there is rarely any analyses or opinion of his own given. |

| Trinity Mirror Group revenues fell 9% last year....
odd to read pro Labour posters on this thread knocking a Labour supporting newspaper and remarking about integrity and stooping low by said 'rag'........

Why should Errington be concerned over that ??? Shes issues tickets inbetween her foul moods but cannot be censored in any shape or form because of Erringtons comments. Even the Brent couldnt be that stupid |

Before you continue your incorrect assumptions, I support the green party. That party doesn't own any of the rags you refer to. |

| I like Jezza, yes Les, and I attended his Plymouth guildhall leader's election speech. He's stuck to his beliefs for decades and has an allotment. Not many MPs can say that. I prefer Lucas and believe it is not just who owns the means of production, but what those means are. A big difference. Still, "the left" is a broad church", and I look forward to Labour moving more left and even nearer the green philosophy and politic. But I'm not sure they will. too many Watsons and the like.
