Blackpool is a classic case of owners gambling with a few million to get up into the premiership, and then taking their ill gotten "winnings" out of the premiership payments, by taking from the premier playing budget and putting it into their own pockets, and then the club tumbles as further parachute monies vanish. These people should be locked up for a very long time, and limited company law totally revised.
Classic modern legal "fraud" stuff. Will the same happen at meteoric Bournemouth ? The problem, as in many things in life, lays in the massive difference in wealth between one layer and another.
We know something about an owner taking from the playing budget to increase his own asset wealth in a pokey way. It's so, so so easy. And all legal. The system was always there to be abused, but the great unwashed are getting wise to the goings on now, thanks to uncontrollable media.
