| ARGYLE continue their unbeaten Central League campaign on Tuesday when Bristol Rovers are the visitors to Coach Road.
The Pilgrims last played at the Devon FA HQ (TQ12 1EJ) in Newton Abbot two weeks ago, when a strong Greens line-up played out a cracking encounter with Milton Keynes Dons, winning 5-4. This followed a 2-0 victory against Forest Green, meaning the Pilgrims have a 100% record so far.
Rovers’ development squad is managed by former Pilgrim Chris Hargreaves. They lost their opening fixture 5-1 to Cheltenham, but bounced back with a 1-0 win against Portsmouth.
Admission at Coach Road is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

| I'll be there, after some stunning footie I can stroll to my allotment just a short way along the road and see how my lettuces are doing. It's all good. COYG |

| To be honest a game lacking in quality from both sides, I came away thinking the team and performance today epitomised the issues within the first team, e.g scoring chances missed, major defensive lapses also a lack of effort for some players although I accept it was pretty miserable conditions. Blissett had a poor game , he gave the impression he didn't want to be there, and was slow to the ball, also missing three clear cut chances. Bentley and Cooper performed well throughout, young Fletcher had patches of good play, but missed a sitter. The basic issue is there is a distinct lack of quality in the 1st team e,g Miller, Wylde, Ainsworth, Sokolik, all lacking quality on the final ball or playing out of defence. Sarcevic did ok today before being subbed. Lack of quality from players bought on a limited budget, really no surprise we are still rock bottom and five points away from safety. Onwards and upwards or something like that. |
