| Very good and important win, sounds like back to last season- keeping clean sheets with last ditch defending and blocking, blood and snotters if you like. Like it or not [and frankly I don't], it's the only way that Argyle are going to survive. Love to see an Argyle side playing with style and scoring loads of goals but it isn't feasible under the current ownership-needs must. Well done to DA and the team. |

| Going back to the current ownership, I watched an interview with the Huddersfield Chairman today and was thinking he was so far away from James Brent in terms of his enthusiasm, his love of the club and the game in general.
He's a multi millionaire but a down-to-earth Yorkshireman who is clearly living the dream by owning his home town club and driving it forward - not by spending stupid money but by being realistic and paying decent wages.
Just compare that with the profit-driven greed of the asset stripper currently in charge.
It was on Football Focus, so you can probably get it on i player. |

| Just seen the goal on SSN, superb work from the incomparable Carey. He'll be gone in January. |

| Two recently promoted teams, little enhanced, hence both struggling to survive. Always likely one of the two would win. The pro brigade will be thinking it's plain sailing now. Literally only Carey standing between Akkeron and the drop. |

| I don't think Carey will go in January, whatever the situation, provided Adams is still here. He and Adams seem to have some sort of personal understanding. End of the season will be his time to ship out and get one last big payday. Was the length of Carey's contract ever mentioned ? It may well be a year, with Carey cashing in on no fee. That's what I would do, remain loyal for the season on what is a reasonable deal, and then get the hell out of Brentland, as the football is clearly going nowhere. |

| Stay in touch with the bottom teams as Taylor is getting nearer and nearer to being fit. Dont think any of us realise what a loss hes been since Peterborough |

| Now two wins out of fifteen without quality signings in January argo havent got a prayer of avoiding relegation, but as we know Brent does cheap not quality. as it stand i think argo will go down. |

| A lovely moment from the extended yewtewbe highlights; where Carey mazes his way into the box and hits it straight at the keeper. A local fan's response throughout the run of "take im ait, take im aiiiit" to their left back, who ignores the instruction and doesnt get near him.
The next clip is the goal, Granty bhey whips it wide to big, lusty GC10, and the same fan again ululates his demand, to no avail. Bootiful. |
