Rejected by Scunthorpe. I’d hazard a guess he’s shit. Top work Derek. We can’t score goals for toffee, yet he’s intent on adding more crap midfielders. |

With 12 goals in over 300 leagues games who wouldn't want to sign him? He is the new Cifci. |

| What our talentless squad needs is more rejects from the job centre. We'll be down by March.

| Rushed Threkeld back before he was fit, and now desperate to be seen to be doing something..... anything, including a Scunthorpe reject that's not needed, and probably doesn't want to be down here. We're into the last reactive stage of Del's government before King Jim of Akkeron, Governor General of HHP, constitutionally boots the stout kneed Scot into touch, dissolves parliament and declares a state of emergency. "The wabbit gets it if I don't have my way, the club is finished without it's hybrid extra 50 eating covers". All of a sudden debts, long since forgotten and denied will appear from nowhere |

| absolutely brilliant del bhey. We are crying out for a striker who can score some goals and full backs who arent slow and wingers who can cross a ball BUT no we instead sign another midfielder!!! and a defensive minded one at that. If he can pass a ball then he is already miles better than Ness and Sarcevic combined.

| Maybe he can play right back?
He also sounds like a Hiram Boateng clone which begs the question of why we didn't just get him when he became available? It's all immaterial now but it still strikes me as odd that he ended up at Exeter. Never mind.
However good or otherwise he turns out to be this is a definite indication that Adams is going nowhere. If he was on borrowed time and if there was even the slightest chance he was up for the boot then there is no way Brent would have sanctioned any signing of anybody.
If he turns out to be better than those we already have let's hope he is fit and can start immediately. Let's also hope he isn't the only signing coming in because pafc.co.uk/2017 definitely needs an urgent upgrade - and the odd patch won't do. |

| Our fullbacks are slow, our strikers could not hit a cows ass with a banjo, and the manager signs a non goal scoring centre midfielder...
Where's them P45s to? |

| Our current midfield is shit and constantly being overrun, so I'm not completely against this signing. He's got ok pedigree, having been promoted with Brentford.
The biggest issue we have is, the rest of the team is worse. |

. I disagree. I don't think that's how Brent works. He won't be the sort to micro manage Adams' ins and outs with his infamous 4 hours a week. It suits Brent to have a budget that he "doesn't interfere with", a cast iron budget, so when it's spent it's spent. Unbudgeted incomes can then stay with him as we saw last year. The terms of that crap budget almost certainly means Adams will have carte blanche to spend every penny of the budget that has been allocated up until January. When it's gone, it's gone. If Adams bumps along firmly in the relegation positions, but actually wins a game or two, then he'll stay, and Brent will make much of how loyal he is to his employees and fledgling football club. The loyalty bull will be rammed home on the herald and pasoti as the mind of the kindly philanthropist he is. However, if he loses, say the next 4 games, which is entirely feasible, Adams WILL go, the pressure will be too much, with the players themselves probably joining in. behind the scenes. It's ok plaing in an Adams strict formation if you're winning, not so when you're looking like mugs. All heading toward a record low points total for relegation. |

You may be right but I suspect that Brent's 4 hours per week have long since been increased. It's all very well being arm's length and out of sight when the cash is rolling in but the wheels are off at Argyle and Argyle is the only part of his empire currently trading profitably. He'll be doing more than 4hrs/week. As for not micro-managing the budget then Brent might not be but someone is doing it for him. There's no money for anything anywhere in the club. They even collect in the lanyards the Business Loungers get issued with their matchday passes now so they can be re-used and managing doesn't get much more micro than that. |
