Plymouth Argyle Football Club Limited has published its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2016.

Turnover increased by 31% to £6.2m, generating earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation of £757,000. This result was achieved after increased expenditure on 'catch-up' maintenance.

As all can see, the accounting date makes it serially almost impossible without far more detail of income and expenditure figures to deduce from any Argyle accounts just how close to the 55% ceiling Brent has been, and hence an indication of his commitment to the football, rather than his asset values.

The football league obviously have all the monthly/end of season figures they need to check the rules are being followed, but no fear whatsoever of Brent getting anywhere near the maximum, in fact that excess income would suggest he's down around 40%, maybe even lower than that.
Just more cynical drip fed nothingness that has become the hallmark of Brent's awful time at Home Park.
Transparency ? Propaganda more like.

And why shouldn't Mr Brent divert cash from the team and into his property ventures, it's his club and good luck to him if he manages to trouser some of the same funds for his own use. You'm all jealous because he went to Eton and you didn't. Get off his (previously our) land!

The Liverpool money will be in the next financial statement. This one covers up to 31 December 2016
