| Amen to that, and could I just also thank Si for 'giving something back' and allowing us to be a safe investment for his money in these troubled times. |

| I'd like to see Home Park completely blindsided by external development that hamstrings the club forever just as long as Brenty Boy gets his shekels. Eeeeeee saved uz, eeeeeeee deserves it.
What does it matter if the club is fecked forever as a result?
Anyway we're a load of moaning Minnies jumping at shadows: he hasn't ever built a damned thing in his life so why we're fearful of what he "intends" to build at Home park is beyond me. |

| What beats me is why and how PCC seem to have such faith in him, bending over backwards to help. I realise it's not directly concerning our club, but surely antics at various hotel chains, Oldway Mansions and the Civic Centre would ring alarm bells over his ability to actually do something concrete (or brick). Surely Akkeron aren't the only developer willing to take on the Millbay Boulevard project.
Does the ice rink plan include parking for customers and staff - or will they be expected to park in the park and ride as well. |

JB isn't involved with Boulevard. As yet no one is
His plan is for couple of tower blocks and retail on Pavilions closed pool and ice rink , hence requirement for "continuous ice" minimum obligation rink butted up to HP. His development will form a bottleneck on Union Street end meaning Boulevard will become an alleyway at this point unless PCC expand towards Octagon instead. |

Maybe the penny's dropped and he's asking himself WTF did I ever get involved in this basket case of a club? Experience tells me a prolonged silence is usually followed by a statement of sorts. |

Experience tells me a prolonged silence is usually followed by a statement of sorts. Having met with Simon Hallett for ninety minutes on Saturday morning I can assure you he is not going WTF. He seems a very happy guy! |

| I'm guessing the best we can hope for is the Hallets in full control of PAFC and Green Jim spending the rest of his days on a sun lounger somewhere in the vicinity of Exeter once his shabby little park ruse comes to fruition. Am I on the right track Ricks |

I wonder if it's because he's thinking of all the interest he's going to earn on his 30 year loan! Just a thought. Or maybe his master plan of ousting Jimmy Jim Bob from his seat of power is edging ever nearer? All part of community Si's master plan! Mu ha ha ha ha ha (in a take over the world stylee voice)

Star crossed lovers meet on ifollow balcony. The very idea right from the start that Hallet wasn't wed to Brent's vision for the club and surrounding park was a ludicrous nonsense made up in someone's head. Orchestrated cross ocean schmoozing. Ridsdale would be proud. |

I wish you were! I asked him directly: "The million dollar question, any plans for you to eventually take over from Brent - a lot of fans wishing for that"? His reply was emphatic. He's never wanted to do it and had never thought about it, but admitted recently the thought had now crossed his mind. He could never say never, but he really didn't have any plans or desire to. He believes whatever happens with the club, that Brent wants to be in charge until at least 2020 to bring the Mayflower celebrations to HP. |

Perhaps it's his version of Brents "I've never even considered buying the stadium back off of PCC" spiel. |

Having met with Simon Hallett for ninety minutes on Saturday morning I can assure you he is not going WTF. He seems a very happy guy! What was his take on Brent's outburst against you and all of us? I didn't ask that question directly. SH made it clear he doesn't care for any of the 'chat' websites really. He finds them too negative. He had read my letter to Brent and I think he thinks I am perfectly capable of standing up for myself. I made it clear to SH why ATD is the way it is and that Newell is responsible for a lot of the grief Brent gets. I made it clear that Brent had it all wrong about me and ATD, and that was all due to lies probably spread by Newell. Where else would that information come from? |

Perhaps it's his version of Brents "I've never even considered buying the stadium back off of PCC" spiel. I don't think so. I feel SH was being truthful. He had many ways to answer and unlike John Lloyd (who is very polite) and didn't call Brent out on what was an outrageously implausible answer, I feel Hallett knew I wouldn't go so easy? |

Perhaps it's his version of Brents "I've never even considered buying the stadium back off of PCC" spiel. Of course, you've also got to take into account who Hallett was talking to, and the principle audience (ATDers) that Ricks would be relaying any of the conversations to regarding future ownership. It may be that Hallett told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but etc etc. Time will tell I guess. As for Brent wanting to bring The Mayflower celebrations to Home Park.... The reality of course being that Brent is praying that Adams can somehow emulate Sturrock and get us another promotion on a shoestring to balloon the value of his shares. If by some miracle that were to happen, the 'For Sale' signs would be up at Home Park before you can say "Lip Quiver". |

Did you get any sort of inkling as to him being Chairman one day (did he give off an aura of leadership) , replacing Brent in a swift and smooth takeover ?. And would he introduce foreign money, most notably any contacts he has in the USA to the club. |
