| So... This makes perfect sense ---
Chris Webb the indivdual, (not El Presidente) resigns from Pasoti, because of abuse on ATD?
Errrr........
...or?

| There are an interesting range of views over there on the goodbye thread. There a lot of positive comments but also a lot critical ones. Webb would love to blame everything on ATD, but it appears that not everyone is happy with the Pres in Pasoti land either.
The stabbing threat came via Twitter a few weeks ago. I wonder if Webb will be stepping back from there? If not, then it cant be that big a deal can it? But I wonder why he has not clarified that it came from Twitter......

| Orders from Brenty perhaps?. Two and a half hours before his flounce he promised to answer some of Baba's probing questions, yeah right, how convenient. He isn't going anywhere really is he. He'll still be on twatter where the alleged threats occurred, I can only guess the accusations that FV are a right wing group were made on there too as I haven't read that here. I find it hard to believe 'baked bean head' really was the last straw for not posting on fans' forums, or was it |

| Sounds to me like webb knows brent is not going to act to save Argyle from being dumped out the football league. And clearly he doesn't want to be around when the realisation of this finally dawns on people. |

For once, I agree. |

| I think to be fair that the criticism has worn him down. The trouble is he likes to think of himself as a fans rep. but when he took the Pres. title he only had the party line to use. The growing number of fans that can't just be fed the positivity line to make them go away is growing and Webby genuinely doesn't have the answers. When you see him nearly falling out with Baba you can feel the frustration and although he is driving and can't answer Baba's questions he manages about 7 responses to why he can't answer them. Postey has taken the party line hook line and sinker nowadays but the amount of people shouting down the askers of the questions are falling dramatically. Sadly Webby has been taken in and allied himself to the worst possible person to help him and I think this is a major part in his downfall. As for the other people over the road falling out of favour I feel there is a desperate power struggle going on but don't believe all you hear about a certain person or two not being moderators as I am sure that Florrie Lindley is a big gay bear, she could hardly contain her delight when sending me a warning with a smiley/wavey emote the other day. |

| January was always going to make or break Brent in many people's eyes. The fall out on Wednesday morning if we haven't signed anyone is going to be huge. |

Obviously the mods thought that on this one they wouldn't edit the posts so that it all looked like Chris is omnipotent, look it up Dane, and there are plenty of people saying exactly the same as has been said on here. Chris lost lots of peoples respect when he went from being "the man who saved Argyle" to Brents lapdog. Comments about him not being able to be El Presidente, yet keep posting as a regular fan on Pasoti, just what has been said on here for months. If Chris Webb was threatened with being stabbed, on Twitter by the way which he is still going to use, then surely he's reported this as it's caused him so much worry, quite rightly too, and he will know who sent the threat. If he can't stop using twatter because he will miss the "real fans" like Dane Bunney, then he should have at least made it clear that the threat came on twatter, instead of dangling the threat details to make it look as though it could have come from ATD. It looks to me as though this "resignation" from public life was designed to take the heat off of the fact that we are back in the relegation places with time running out, and no news on any new signings before the transfer window closes, but it doesn't look as though he has got the response he wanted. Maybe when the drum is deployed on Saturday and it inspires the team to turn all known form on it's head and beat Southend, who will be top of the table if they beat Swindon on Tuesday, then his followers will then be begging him to return to the fold? Or maybe when the transfer window slams shut tomorrow with no new signings, and if form is upheld and we lose on Saturday, then he will deactivate his twatter account too? |

You are not allowed an opinion until you reveal what your supporters club did in the war. |

That's more likely to be the reason, he has sold his socialist principles down the river, now he has engaged with other people the other side of the political spectrum, he has it seems to toe the line. Remember this is the guy who put his young son on the stage to score a political point, if he would do that what would he not do. This guy should not be the President of PAFC. |

It appears the police are dealing with it, as of course, they should. |

| IMO, another stage managed, pre planned event.
Communication from the club will now start to dry up (not that we get a lot of "real" communication anyhow).
Give it a week or two and people will be pleading with Chris to come back.

| Hmm.
The debate on pasoti following The Supreme Leader's announcement is now up to it's 6th fascinating page.
As yet, no comment from IJN in support of his BFF. It's not like him to turn down the opportunity to have a pop at the freaks and weirdos. Is his broadband connection down? Or is there some other reason for his silence? |

| If Chris Webb is going to cut the out the rhetoric heavy addresses on pasoti, what are they going to find him to do now? |

| Chris won't be happy now that Rupert has hijacked his attention seeking and passive thread of the moment. |

| Maybe Naps thought he was going to move upstairs with Where's Webby but he 's gone alone. Sulking probably or too busy writing his own resignation. |
