| As expected Charlton completely tearing piss poor Argo to shreds. Only a matter of time before we concede our first goal, We shouldn't be in this division. |

| Indeed, Charlton dominating, non league Nathan feeding off scraps.
Would be about 0 - 3 if we started with that Dutch barman |

| I've proudly saved well over fifteen hundred pounds since Brent started showing his true colours. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Errington reckons Argyle have been quite willing to attack !! |

| 2-0. Jervis again. Top result, all things considered. Hoping for a decent précis from Greenskin at some point |

Hoping for a decent précis from Greenskin at some point Good result, didn't expect that to be honest. We should make Greenskin the ATD official match report poster - sponsored by Tena Pants |

| Watched on iFollow from Spain. Quite enjoyed it with no commentary. Sound behind the pictures but not too distracting.
Decent game and thought Argyle grew into it against a tidy if unspectacular Charlton side. Could have been different if McCormick hadn't pulled off a great early save but we had some decent forward momentum too.
Quite impressed with Grant and Blissett tried hard, though looked knackered by the hour. Sawyer played well but then I'm old fashioned and like my full backs to be defenders, first and foremost. Fox held the midfield together well and rarely wasted the ball, Carey created well. Always liked Jervis and he took his goals well, particularly the second to kill the game.
Gutsy home performance and Argyle ultimately good for the win. Clear we need some more strength up top but on this evidence we should be OK over the piece.

Very good crowd considering the non investing shambles off the field well done to the manager players and fans, ps was Xthrobber at homepark, in the trenches with his stout knees? |

| Blisset had a good game, thankless task only one up front but I though he stood up well, Grant was a surprise to me, never noticed him much playing for excretia but sure noticed him today. Good team effort all round, well done to all at PAFC |

| Excellent result, rode our luck first half but played some decent stuff in the second! Joel Grant stood out for me, GC was a no show I have to say! |

| McCormick saved us on more than one occasion and was my Man of the Match. Jervis took his goals well in a game that didnt really look like anything but a bore draw at times. good win and after Tuesday a clean sheet which is a welcome bonus. |

Hoping for a decent précis from Greenskin at some point Ok, yertiz. Really enjoyed the game and afternoon generally, certainly seems to be a different style of football from last season. Nip and tuck first half and very good to watch but it must be said that it took a miracle fingertip save by Luke and an only just less miraculous header off the six yard line from Edwards [who was generally very impressive, DA may have uncovered another gem there] to keep the score at 0-0.Charlton were quite good with their passing and movement but Argyle were by no means a distant second best and carved out a few good chances of their own, with Sawyer, Grant and Carey [extraordinary that someone said he was a no show but game of opinions I suppose] combining well down the left. Thought Argyle would win at HT [tea gone up 20p] and so it proved, with Jervis poking home through a crowd of players from a Carey corner and Edwards knock down and then seizing onto a loose ball just inside the Charlton half and planting a firm shot into the bottom corner to secure a merited win. Argyle were dominant in the second half with Carey [that man again!] whistling a 30 yard pile driver inches wide being the closest to another goal but would agree that Sarcevic was excellent, a veritable midfield tank. All in all very encouraging, one swallow and all that notwithstanding-if Charlton are one of the better sides then Argyle have nothing to be afraid of,not that a club which had a gate of 11000 today and has a history of doing well in this division should be afraid anyway. |

| Just had a look at their forum. They bemoan strikers and other CAFC fans. I did like this comment though - FFS it is the Plymouth Argyles first home game of the season what do people expect. How's the training ground work going?
Perfectly until 90 mins ago. Knee-jerk [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
