Christmas is getting earlier

It's early summer but bosses at Chaplins reckon some customers are already thinking about Christmas.

A local bargain superstore has already filled up their shelves with festive decorations

The Plympton store is ahead of the Christmas game by months and director, Vanessa Chaplin says customers won't be disappointed.

They never really put the decorations away after Christmas they just moved it to the back of the garden centre. What's more annoying I go down there in early September looking for weed killer and I get the usual we have put the garden products away seeing as it's Christmas nearly. It's fooking September the sun's out and it's nearly 20 degrees.

Just bizarre.....whilst I have removed her now i had an old school friend on FB who would count down the "number of sleeps" to christmas eve starting from around 120......just bonkers how people wish their life away
