Dr Who

The new Doctor is female.

I've seen a few comments along the lines of "PC gone mad" etc...

Why shouldn't the 13th Doctor be the first female one?

Female is old hat, transgender is where it's at.

Or even in Dr Who World trans-species. Why should The Doctor be human at all?

Which having two hearts he/she/it isn't, of course.

Can't be any worse than the last one.

im just waiting for the first vibrator joke to be made when she takes out her sonic screwdriver

why should it be a woman? why should the next james bond be black? why anything. Answer is keeping pc gangs happy and tick demographic boxes.
