| Season starts with a tricky game at Posh on the 5th August. Our annual 1st round exit of the League Cup follows in mid week before our first home game at Charlton then 2 more inevitable defeats at Southend and home to Scunthorpe. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I think we might be mid September before we gain a single point, remember 4 goes down from this division.

Also poor for Easter as well.

| It's gonna be a long old slog, be surprised if we stay up, shocking Chrimbo/New Year fixtures as per, can't see me going much apart from the usual BRovers Pompey affairs. |

| The last time I visit the posh was 1975 when my eldest son was 3, I took him and my old mum to see my sister when I went to the game, we lost 1 - nil. I had a puncture on the way home. |

| Well impressed with the hospitality packages at HP. Load of stuff for £55 per person and it includes a Match-Day Programme and a Sky Bet League Two match ticket! I wonder which L2 game the tickets are for! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! I was at that game. 11000 crowd with roughly 3000 home fans ? Sadly, not the club's finest hour. Bad vibes all day long. Shameful. |

| Some decent looking sides in that division, but plenty of bang average ones too. Lower mid-table mediocrity looms, I reckon. |

Steady on mouldy....you sound a bit to Brentish saying that......your supposed to be one of the leaders of the opposition....not a Brent lover.....is this heatwave getting to you....6th day running in the mid 80's F.... Not totally anti Brent. I hate the way he is running the club on the cheap and for his own enrichment by milking the fans for every penny he can. I don't expect him to do it for nothing but for me it seems as far as he is concerned it's all about pocketing as much as possible and bollocks to everyone else. He has done a few things I like. Hiring DA was a good one. I will have to sit down for a while to think of others so don't hold your breath! As for the arguments on another thread between posters who are 'pro' or 'anti' Brent they are never going to agree. If I had to make a moderator decision over 'bullying' on there I would say it was done by the 'anti' ones. I just wish people would respect others opinions and debate about the subject matter and come to the conclusion that they have their views and others have their own. Referring to others as twat every time is just childish and does nothing but show the poster and ATD in a bad light. People need to remember that this forum was set up and used by a small number of people at first because they were denied their opportunity to voice their opinions on the other side. What is happening now is people who have a better opinion of the club and its owners, who have joined us for whatever reasons are being shouted down by those who can be as intolerant as the person who banned the 'anti' Brents from pasoti. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | What a bunch of moaning minnies. There are two, possibly three naysayers on here that deliberately insult fellow members, that's all. And frankly, speaking as someone who was not banned from pasoti, to infer that the couple of gobby posters on here are every bit as bad as the pasoti owner is way way off the mark. Maybe some people need to recalibrate their hackles. Still, it's always highly amusing to see what individuals actually believe. I always larf when I hear the protestations of the ATD back bench 1922 committee |

I think we're down too. We were shit in L2 even with Carey. Finishing 19th will take major miracle by DA, even surpassing last season. |

| For the hardiest and most dedicated of fans, that means long journeys across the country at the time when they could be putting their feet up and scoffing chocolates with the fire on. So whose supporters are facing treks of more than 200 miles each way on 26 December and on New Year's Day? Plymouth Argyle face a 227-mile journey to MK Dons on Boxing Day, a 454-mile round trip, while Rochdale only have to get 19 miles to Blackburn Rovers. However, given Plymouth's location relative to the other clubs, that is not really out of the ordinary. Even a trip to Bristol Rovers would take them more than 120 miles each way.
