PLYMOUTH Argyle manager Derek Adams has been in charge at Home Park for precisely two years today and he has achieved a great deal of success in that time.

He finally got the Pilgrims out of the basement of the Football League after six years of waiting and will now take them into League One from August.

That figure is remarkable. Managers at teams who have enjoyed a modicum of success recently like Gas, Northampton under Wilder, Sheff Utd, Pompous under Cooke are all below that figure by at least 5%. Even Luggy Mk 1 was below that figure. Geddon Derek!
