Time is dragging on. Brent has already "somehow" pushed back planning apps and a start date from "early spring and start of season" (I marked my diary when he initially spouted it) respectively....daylight hours start reducing in just over 2 weeks. Am just waiting for the "we've hit a snag" press release which pretty nailed on is coming....

Funny you say that..was gunna start a thread last week Good news bad news..dont know if anybody was keeping a eye on the heralds twitter feed last week they were biggin brent up tweet after tweet couldnt lick his arse enough but i remember the last time they done that it was followed by bad news so fully expect the bad news to follow shortly from the reluctant one WATCH!!!

Said neighbour may well be trying to link the corporate bolt on to the designs he's got on zoo field, all nicely wrapped up in continuous ice and 2020 pavilion boulevards. Any self respecting property profiteer wouldn't pass up the chance of linking such things given the timescale the community have put themselves in purely for arbitrary reasons that will bring next to no new money into the city coffers.
He certainly saw fit to slip in the ice rink mention recently given his silence on the matter for a very long time, and that is welcome. But he won't want to give up the value of other aspects of previous planning permissions that are fast running out, just to build a cafe with serviettes for footy fans at the back of the grandstand. It's now or never for him.

18279 plus or minus any change to upper Grandstand capacity.

Brent has already answered that one in his recent interview, apart from little bits and bobs, it's going into the balance sheet, and hence the value of his asset. And he was very sure to state any future such "windfalls" will also be be headed to the same place. He's a number cruncher and profit merchant, not a football man. In the modern way of stealing one's opposition's well cut clothes, he calls it sustainability.

it became fools gold and probably been spent on the crappy drawings. It was silly for anyone to have believed that any of that unbudgeted income was going into del bheys transfer budget.

It saddens me that the majority of this clubs fans which sadly they do barr this place and a few smart fans would rather have a welfare budget run club with no ambition at all all because he saved us 7 years ago and was the only one who would (bullshit of course)

no other club would tolerate it.

What do you reckon the odds are for phase 1 starting within 12 months, with no planning hitches, no jimmy hitches, no asbestos hitches, and no unforseen development hitches once works starts.....you could offer 1000/1 and still you'd chuck away a £1 because not a chance in hell this will start and complete unaided.
My best bet is work will start and unknown at present problems will become financially crippling......end result mayflower closed and halletts charge on HP naturally remains....
