| Great news for them. Its been a long time coming.
No doubt it will be built and up and running for a good while before the asbestos stand is rebuilt. |

| And wouldn't Brent, just like Todd, just love to surround Home Park with high rise residential accommodation as pictured above. THe archetypal setting for a football ground. |

Soft ground and the rising cost of glitter has scuppered the Mankover. |

Soft ground and the rising cost of glitter has scuppered the Mankover. Suffers there aint even gonna be a makeover. I've already nailed my colours to the mast and said the asbestos issue has already completely voided any refurbishment. At the moment the Grandstand retains its safety certificate (probably just !) Soon as the cladding is removed on any makeover standards have to then come up to 2017 quality of safety. The £4million (Net) wont even cover the removal (its hugely expensive) and not only that once it starts they cant stop halfway. The entire Mayflower side of grounds will out of bounds. I'd suggest the best they can do is replace all the seating in the Grandstand as it is and put seating on the Mayflower terrace. However I understand that new permanent seating requires a roof under current ground legislation so christ knows where thats coming from Brent has completely failed on everything he touches. This latest farce just continues the Shysters trend rest assured |

| As far as I was concerned there was nothing on the thread saying what AFC had done until Zyph posted it. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! They did more than the programme, they didnt mention them inside the programme notes either or their scoreboard. even didnt stock their kiosks with enough food n drink for all the fans either. So they werent acknowledged by wimbledon in more ways than one. |
