| Interesting Ainsworth says we have a big budget, unless it's a wind up. |

I think that's fair. If we do get up, then what comes afterwards will be very telling. If the board fails to equip us for League One, we could end up back at square one. Is Adams waiting for the promotion on his CV to jump ship? Personally, I think he'll fancy a stab at the division above with us but only if he is given the correct tools. |

| Self serving like Evans. He's excusing himself. Rather amusing to hear Ainsworth complain of Argyle "putting on giants at the end", as if Akinfenwa is a slip of a thing. Pure panto. Booooooooooooo bĂ´ooooooo |

We both know as do others that Brent and his henchman Starnes do things as cheap as poss. They will try and get away with offering Carey as little as poss then act shocked when he signs for another club. Most of the squad will be under contract in anycase due to the option in their contracts but new players coming in need to be offered longer deals than 1 year plus and option for 2, buliding a strong spine is going to be crucial your right. |

| Looking at the run in, I'm going to guess at us continuing our hit-and-miss form, and picking up 12pts. But even that means that Carlisle grabbing 23pts from 9 games, because of the goal difference, or Luton getting 23 from 10. While that's obviously possible, it would still be a hell of a run of form, just when the pressure is on. Can't see it happening, myself.
And, like Pat said, the bottom half of L1 is no great shakes. Even with the with the squad as is, I reckon we'd avoid relegation. |

I think Argyle will do it now (four wins and a couple of draws should seal it). I predictated that Argyle would finish in 3rd spot and I will take that with great pleasure, nice to finish in 2nd though. Brent and the Board will have to get players in for the challenges of League One, along with keeping those they feel will do a job in that division. Consolidation in League One will be the focus for two or three seasons, then have a crack at promotion to the Championship. |

| The four teams that went up last season are all doing fine. Last seasons stand out team, Northampton, being lowest at 14th, Wimbledon 12th, Oxford 10th and Bristol Rovers 8th.
I'm not sure there's too much difference between the 3rd and 4th Divisions which makes it all the more annoying the time we've had to spend bumbling around in the basement. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] It has always amazed me that the famed club budget document has never been leaked. In football-world that really is something. |

Because apparently, each clubs budget is circulated to the other clubs (according to Brent)? |
