MATTY Kennedy has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two player of the month award for February.
The 22-year-old Scot has created quite an impact at Home Park since joining on loan from Championship side Cardiff City on the final day of the January transfer window.
Winger Matty announced himself to the Home Park faithful by scoring the opener in a 3-0 victory on his home debut against Exeter City, then setting up Ryan Taylor for the second.
He also netted in Argyle's two subsequent games - at home to Leyton Orient and away at Hartlepool United - with breathtaking individual efforts, cutting in off his left flank and smashing home an unstoppable shot.
Also nominated are: Portsmouth central defender Matt Clarke; Stevenage striker Matt Godden; and Wycombe Wanderers' forward Adebayo Akinfenwa.
The winner - selected by a judging panel comprising Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon, and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery - will be announced on Friday.
