| Did anyone else hear the piece on Radio Devon prior to the game where the cameraman said that in normal evening games the floodlights aren't used on full power ?, only on televised games such as Liverpool when the TV company insists are they used on full power. Apparently the kit has been changed slightly for lighter colours to make the players more visible.
The extent to which the parasite is willing to screw down every penny to Argyle's detriment beggars belief. Just feck off brent ! |

| The players out there tonight, no matter how they were acquired, had the combined ability to beat any team in this league. They appeared not to be motivated and appeared to have no real game plan. They were all poor. The display was inept and the blame tonight must sit with the players and coaching staff. The players and staff should be ashamed. |

| The wheels are starting to come off or to use a quote from Twin Peaks - "it is happening again". A sense of deja vu is creeping in.
I am really annoyed after that defeat, unbelievable to be honest, but perhaps not, as Argyle have been blowing hot and cold just of late. I now have serious doubts regarding 2nd spot, and possibly 3rd spot also.
I feel so sorry for those that went along tonight, I was considering it, but thought other wise. I am still thinking about going on Saturday ?.
Adams has now got to pull a few white rabbits out of the hat to keep any chance of promotion alive.

The team has been poor all season. Apart from a handful of games we have been completely outplayed but been unbelievably lucky. There is no way a 'team' this bad should be anywhere near 2nd place. Anyway, like last season a correction has now taken place and we're plummeting down to closer where we should be. |

That was said last year. And the year before. And....... Do you think that the team believe that they are going up regardless, hence the slack in form and the wobble or do you think they are bricking it and are nervous as hell. |

I wish I knew the answers. I keep thinking back to 1921 to 1927 (not that I was there) when we finished 2nd in Div 3S ? for 6 consecutive seasons and only 1 team went up. DA needs to sort it somehow and maybe its time to use the squad depth to the full and drop some of the players who are normally first on the team sheet. On this form we'll drop straight through the play-offs and all have to buy Freathy a drink. |

| Pay peanuts and you do tend to get ******* ? Only difference from last season is that there are more of them.
They're here basically because no other club wanted them and what's happened to our monster signing from Torquay ? lol
Back to the 7k faithful believers last night. When will the bankers realise that there are only so many wannabes and idiots even in Plymouth, who will turn up to watch lower league dross in a rotting stadium ? They really must think that the wider potential fanbase is as gullible as the walking brain dead whose lives revolve around murderous coach trips, Dave Banana and photoshoots with players n pasties.
They had the income to invest in a couple of class players during the window and give them proper contracts as a statement of intent for this and subsequent seasons. Challenging the rest of the squad to prove that they were worthy of similar once promotion was achieved and giving the potential fanbase a reason to 'believe', rather than the hollow,'I just supports' and 'get behind the lads'.
I find myself still wanting the team to win but when they don't, I'm reminded 'why' I don't attend and just wish the club would get lucky with owners, for once. Sadly, I don't think these 'investment managers' are going anywhere fast. |

Been saying for some time that : club lacking ambition + gullible negative fanbase + an opportunist owner does NOT equal success. |

| Despite of Brent this team will get promoted, probably with the lowest points total required in recent seasons. There is simply no momentum behind. No one is looking like they are going to win 5 out of 6. |

I don't agree. What will happen is that it will get more congested at the top of the table and we'll still miss out. The worry is having to play and lose to Exeter in the play offs. |

I was thinking the same earlier about the points etc. No one team are on a great run. However .. a great run will not be required if we can't start picking up points and soon! We ended our last poor run with a win vs Donny so p'raps this Saturday will end another poor run? |

| I haven't been thinking about it at all. You win some, you lose some. By and large the best teams win the most games. The only weird thing is a possible second collapse in the second half of the season like last year. I can't help feeling it is related to players being unsettled regarding their security and the commitment of their employers. Purrington's and Starnes' comments were quite clear. No one was bothered about the future of this employee in any concrete sense, so I assume he and his agent, if he has one, went lookabout. "The club didn't seem that bothered about me". What employees are there on here that have been used to such insecurity ? It's bound to affect performance as you go dipping in for a future mate elsehere. |

| I was royally turded off last night at the result but in the cold light of day I agree with Dick T. There is so much dross behind us we are still likely to make it. Carlisle have been even more crap than us lately but still sit in 3rd. No one is doing a Cobblers, Rovers or even a Stanley from last season.
Besides, I'm going on Saturday so we're bound to win big |
