Former Blackpool and Leeds United midfielder David Norris has signed for Salford City.
Thirty-five-year-old Norris had been on the books at Ryman League Premier Division Leatherhead earlier this season, signing for former Ipswich Town team-mate Jimmy Bullard.
Born in Stamford, he represented his home-town team before joining Boston United in 1999.
He was signed by Bolton Wanderers for £50,000 in January 2000 and returned on-loan to the Pilgrims.
He also had loan stints with Hull City and Plymouth Argyle whilst with Bolton, but left the Trotters to join Plymouth on a permanent deal in 2002 without making a senior appearance.
After 219 games and 26 goals for Argyle, Norris joined Ipswich in January 2008 and he went on to make 106 appearances for the Tractor Boys.
Spells with Portsmouth, Leeds United, Peterborough United, Yeovil Town and Blackpool followed before leaving the Seasiders in August, signing for the Tanners a month later.
