Aim of the game is to put the ball in the opponents net, we did it once, they didn't. We won they lost, end of story. As Eddie Jones said yesterday "ugly game, beautiful result". Onto the next game.

Anyone who has watched Argyle this season will know that yesterday's game was a microcosm of our season. Quite often 2nd best on performance, yet 1st best ( that's a new phrase, that is) on results.

How many times have we seen top of league teams come to Home Park and go away with an undeserved 1-0 win? That's what top of the league teams do.
Nice for us to do it. Hope it lasts.

Pulis would have put that win down to 'aaarrddd work'. I expect Adams viewed it similarly. Don't care how we win and you don't get to 2nd in the table after 28 games on luck alone. We might not be one of the best sides in the division at present but all that matters now is trousering enough points to get over the line.
