| That would be counter productive....I'm sure they've done it before...there is a reasonable slope involved....remember PAFC aren't building it.
How many seats I wonder ? |

| Look at the poles at the back must block their view
Quote from the firms
Around 20 people are expected to be involved in the work, which could run until Tuesday, and there are set to be 2,243 seats, although Site and Stage said it may be nearer 3,000.
Argyle said over 1,800 |

| Are the temp seats being removed after the game?
If so, is there a link? Or is this speculation? |

Thanks Tgwu, from PAFC's point of view, if Argyle win against Liverpool, then it could (depends on hire costs) be worth keeping the seats in for the possible Wolves and Exeter (h) games. Hopefully they've costed all the likely outcomes and delaying any decision on the outcome of Liverpool game. I suspect the game might go along similar lines to the Coventry home game back in the 90's, what an atmosphere that was... and what a free kick from big Ian Baird. Atmos won't be the same, but I can see Argyle unsettling them early on before Liverpool's quality becomes decisive late on. |

| If the club thought we were in a serious promotion race the seating would be kept until May. Clearly they don't. |

| It's all about the big game, where is the evidence that Brent gives a toss about promotion. |

| They'll have to be strict with no standing in the temp seats, else the old Mayflower and corporate who have been fleeced £120/ head won't see a thing. |

| The Argyle Fans’ Trust is delighted with the news that the club are opening up the Mayflower Terrace for Wednesday’s big game against Liverpool in the FA Cup. The Trust is especially pleased that the club has decided to do this even though it will be making a financial sacrifice in doing so and applauds the sentiment of prioritising supporter satisfaction over profit margins.
The Trust urges the club to consider keeping the terracing in place for future games – including any potential future FA Cup games should we progress against Liverpool and the big Devon Derby match against Exeter on February 11th. The Club is on the cusp of exciting times and the Trust supports examining all options to capitalise upon that, beyond Wednesday’s big tie against Liverpool. |

| One Question Bob. You mention financial sacrifice. How much has he sacrificed? Given that the tickets are more expensive, Liverpool have removed their right to a share of the revenue, to claim back the free offers the supporter has to buy another ticket at £22 and he's got sponsors to pay for the "free" offers. Everyone seems to be chipping in but Brent.
I assume you're on the case about the rumours that programme sellers are having to pay for their ticket?

| I reckon any technical loss will be absolutely minimal. There are a lot more than 1800 seats going in for a start.
The old seating cost 100k for a WHOLE SEASON, FFS.
The AFT need to press Argyle on how much it is costing and how much it'd be to keep till May. |

| The free pasty and pint will have been put up by Snozzle Brewery. The new tickets aren't available online, despite the club saying they would be. |

are they expecting exeter to draw the same numbers as Liverpool?? no is the answer to that question so it would be silly to pay for more seating when i'll go out on a limb and say the stadium wont be full for this game. double digits yes all 16000 odd no. |
