Most 'experts' seem to be favouring Clinton but wtf do they know. Fwiw I don't think Trump would be as bad as some fear but most septics seem to be disillusioned by the choice of candidates on offer.

I think Clintons got it. Trump has to swing too many states to win, had the republicans put up a more 'moderate' candidate it would have been there for the taking. Trumps just a bit too much of a caricature and the Americans take choosing their president seriously.
I have put a fiver on Trumpy at threes though

FBI have found "no evidence of criminality" in the new batch of emails. It's hers to lose now.

i wouldnt vote for either of them if i had the right to vote in america. It would be like choosing between nool and plebb as biggest argyle fan. Hillary is corrupt as they come and Trump is just an loud mouth idiot who shouldn't have even got this far.
Hillary will win i feel but USA are fecked no matter who wins.

A choice between the devil or the deep blue sea.
Think Trump vote may be stronger than expected as:-
a) the media (BBC in particular) don't look any further than their own extreme bias (as with Brexit referendum.
b) Also like Brexit many voters may keep their preference to themselves until they get into the ballot box for fear of being shouted down / castigated.

Surely, not even Americans could elect someone like Trump - who seriously thinks Climate change is a conspiracy - could they?
Unfortunately the answer probably is yes they could. I dread to think what would happen then.

It's the anti establishment vote again.
I keep scratching my head at the numptiness (sic) displayed by some of the posters on here.
You keep thinking that what you wish for is what will happen.
How many more times will you be wrong?

I wouldn't call it numptiness, more of a hope that the sort of people desperate to lash out might stop punching themselves in the face for once.

I think you'll find that they've punched the smug faces of the Establishment.
This is the proverbial rocket that they've so deserved over the last 20 years.
Trump read the people's mood better than anyone. He understood the meaning of Brexit.
I fully expect Germany and France to provide similar upsets next year.

They are still tallying up the votes but it seems likely that Clinton polled about 1m votes in total more than Trump.
If so this will be the 5th time that the winner of the popular vote lost the US election with the most recent being Al Gore losing to George W Bush.
