On PAFC some lady asked what is a hat trick

quote

Drew Savage In old money, a hat-trick is one with your left foot, one with your right and one with your head

No Drew thats a perfect hat trick, which is an occasion when a football player scores one goal with their left foot, one goal with their right foot, and one goal with their head

A hat trick

The term "hat trick" is used when a single player achieves three scores in a single game. Its first recorded usage was after a game of cricket when bowler H.H. Stephenson took three consecutive wickets and was awarded a hat. The term migrated to other sports, such as football and ice hockey
