Is this really the best the club can do? A cheesy throwback to 1970's sexism. Not just completely village, it's completely embarrassing.

I'm very disappointed. When I read the title, I thought the thread would be about stripes.

The Argyle Angels are recruiting new cheerleaders- have you got what it takes
city cheerleading group are recruiting for new members to join their vibrant team.
Argyle Angels, who take to the pitch to support Plymouth's finest football team, need an extra 10-15 girls to join them before the season kicks off.
Team leader Chloe Smith is urging people to come forward for auditions, where hopefuls can try out routines before being chosen to join.
The Argyle Angels meet every Thursday at home park where they train for around two hours.
For a flavour of how the cheerleaders roll, their training session is split into half; an hour is dedicated to fitness and conditioning while the second half consists of routine practice and learning, ready for match day performances.
Chloe, who has been involved with the cheerleading group for almost three years, said: "The squad we have are an amazing group of people, and I treat everyone the same – we all have so much respect for one another.
Being a cheerleader at Plymouth Argyle requires 100 per cent dedication and commitment."
To try out at auditions you must be 18 or over and enjoy dancing, cheerleading and performing.
The next open session will take place on October 6 at Home Park between 6.30pm and 8.30pm
