Nothing new though, I guess, although attitudes are so different.
Just listening to Radio 4's Fifteen seconds of fame concerning film extras.
A really charming interview with two Northern lasses who were picked out from the school playground to appear with Hayley Mills in Whistle Down the Wind. Dickie Attenborough and Bryan Forbes just turned up one day and before they knew it, they were whisked off all over the place, and off to London film premieres. One even later opened a local motorfactors as a local celeb. cat

No Pie face nonsense. Really charming down to earth stuff, just as I remember the film itself. One of the lasses got £200 for her part which went straight into her Savings Bank account and ended up as a deposit on her house when she married.

Never comes on here to promote their weekly updates, I think they do not want to up set the pig master and have their freedom of HP taken away, Senior greens I think are in the same boat.

There's a huge amount of people that don't even know of ATD's existence though. Certainly a fair few of Pasoti posters I know in real life weren't aware of this place until I brought it up.

I doubt someone who wants to share and actually get their website more views and hits would deliberately ignore a website with hundreds of active target readers.

To be fair to Steve@gos there is a link on GoS to ATD and he posts updates to Free Chat FB group.
